We lived too far away to celeb...Loved reading this! We lived too far away to celebrate Christmas with my Baba, but we did spend Easter with her. I realized last year that, while I knew all the foods served, I had no idea of the traditions at Christmas. My aunt mentioned her parents throwing coins and candy on the floor and the children scampering for them.
